      (during high school spring season Feb-Apr, ballplayers have access to the indoor academy; BP sessions throughout week & Sunday's)

ABC ball players participate in a minimum of two weekly team practices (one indoors and one on the field) with the opportunity to by Advance their Craft investing additional time, effort and energy into specialized workshops hosted throughout the week. Ball players skills will be tested and measured weekly to establish bench marks, set goals and achieve milestones.

Example schedule:

  • Monday's - ABC staff available for one on one sessions; indoor hitting clinics; optional specialized skills workshops.

  • Tuesday's and Thursday's- pre-designed indoor team practice *arrive 20-30 min early for extra-reps and early work. Indoor practice incorporates the following skills/drills workshops: active warm-up, Swingtherapy (skills, drills, reps and live arm BP from coaches), Throwing Dynamics, Arm Care/Velocity training (for pitchers and position players), Pitcher's boot-camp (instruction, bullpens), Catcher's boot-camp, defensive drills, etc. Video montage of a typical week of ABC workouts.

  • Wednesday's - pre-designed team field practice hosted north at Balcones Youth Complex (near Parmer/Mopac) and south at Preston Field (near Zilker Park). Field practice curriculum includes the following components: active warm-up, 10 min throwing/long toss program, "daily-drills", In & Out, team fundamentals, max fungo reps, conditioning. Inclement weather issues posted @abcraininfo, move indoors.

  • Thursday's - (see above), extra reps, one on one sessions; opportunity to attend makeup workout.

  • Friday - Sunday - Game Day *not every summer tournament will be Fri-Sun; however, there will be some.
