Weekly skills training indoor workshops

master calendar of all summer ball events at bottom of page

(weekly workshops, team field practices, field clinics, games, tournaments, etc)

getting started: Players should chose to attend workouts at the Baseball Solutions indoor academy most convenient (north: 9300 Anderson Mill rd, 78750 - south: 3708 Woodbury dr, 78704). Both indoor academies will have the same workshop schedule. Families will need to decide upfront, prior to registration, which day and time slots are best for your schedule. Once you register for your desired workshops you will need to attend the same sessions each week. Space in each class is limited.

  • Foundation class: these workshops are designed to follow a curriculum and provide each individual player with personalized instruction specific to their needs. Our desire is to spend quality time in an instructional environment that is heavy on drills, tempered with relevant dialog, and steady with reps. Foundation workshop time slots are 1 hr in length: 30 min spent in the cages developing the skills necessary to become a better hitter (mentally & physically); 30 min spent outside the cages participating in  Arm Care / Throwing Dynamics program as well as pitching, catching, and defensive clinics. Foundation classes and will be available Monday's & Tuesday's in May. .

  • Muscle memory class: these workshops are designed to provide max reps. Ball players will participate in a light and appropriate warm-up activity and then go right into an environment where reps are the focus. Muscle memory workshops are 1 hr in length and available Wednesday's & Thursday's in May.

  • Maintenance class: these workshops are designed to keep ball players in a consistent routine and exposed to an environment where coaches help make necessary adjustments while providing max reps. Available Monday's & Tuesday's in June and July.

  • Pitchers class - Own the Zone: ABC has a rich tradition of developing an army of pitchers who understand that the most important pitch is strike one. ABC pitchers will have quality mound time working to command three pitches for strikes (thrown in any count), develop solid pitching mechanics and gain optimal understanding of how to truly be a pitcher - not just someone who stands on the mound and pitches.

  • SAQ training class: baseball specific Speed.Agility.Quickness training. 1hr & 30min curriculum's. Watch SAQ training video. Enough said. Available on Thursdays in June/July.

  • Mental skills class: the mental side of the game is often neglected. Some professionals feel that the mental side of the game is as high as 80% of the success recipe, yet athletes rarely devote more than 10% of their time (if that much) to developing their mental game. ABC ball players will be challenged to explore their mental approach to the game of baseball in new and innovative ways. We have prepared curriculums to cover all aspects of the game. 1hr & 30min curriculum's. Click to review sample curriculum. Available on Thursdays in June/July.
