Many people are surprised that you have regularly scheduled classes, good instructors, and large workout facilities. I haven't heard that situation duplicated anywhere else. "Coach Prater, Thank you so much for talking to my son and putting baseball in a perspective that he not only understood, but also walked away with a new sense of trust and admiration for you. You have a gift of getting through to youth and making them want to do better, but you also give them an aura confidence in there abilities. I have seen my son grow socially in these past months also, through interaction with you guy's, he has become more articulate, and confident about himself. His baseball skills have grown immensely , and what happens away from the ball defensively has already caught his high school coaches eye. My son told me today, that his high school coach is always correcting positioning of infielders during cutoffs, every time he turns around to correct my son or move him , he is already there. That's a product of the short time he has been with ABC. You and your coaches are a great asset to this area for the serious ball player or the player that wants to work toward the next level. They also deserve to know what a great group of individuals they are because many times when I coached many parents told me my job was "Thankless", I always disagreed because as long as a kid walked away with some kind of improvement, I felt pride and a sense of accomplishment.
